The Surprising Answers to the 5 Most Common Weight Loss Questions on the Internet.

The #1 problem people come to us with is weight loss.  To understand exactly what people want, we went to the internet to see what questions are being asked about this subject.

We discovered the most common themes when it comes to weight and fat loss.  The results were surprising….and sometimes hilarious.  We looked at searches on Amazon, Google, and Youtube and looked at results from GoogleTrends and Ubersuggest.

So let’s get to it.  Here are the most common questions you are asking the internet about weight loss and our answers to all of them.

1.How to lose weight fast?

We get it, you want to lose weight yesterday.  There are many unhealthy and dangerous ways to lose weight fast like starving and dehydrating yourself, but we don’t recommend either one.  

Real, lasting weight loss comes from building a solid foundation with nutrition, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle.  The quicker you do those things, the faster you will lose weight.

So to answer this question; you lose weight fast by eating better, exercising, and living a healthy lifestyle.  How quickly the weight comes off is up to how soon you do these things and how consistently you are doing them.

2.What are the best exercises/workouts for weight loss?

Our quick answer to this:  any exercise is better than no exercise.

But if we had to boil it down to one type of exercise or workout, we’re going with strength training.  

Building strength helps build muscle.  Muscle forces your body to burn more calories naturally causing your metabolism to speed up.  So if you get stronger and build muscle, you will lose more fat in the long run.

3.How to lose weight and gain muscle?

To do this, you have to do some basic math.  

First, you have to burn more calories than you are taking in.

Second, you have to eat enough protein to build muscle.  How much you ask?  Well, that depends.

There is a lot of debate over how much protein we need to build muscle, but to play it safe, women should shoot for somewhere between .5-.75 grams of protein per pound of body weight and men should take in between .8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.

Do these 2 things consistently and you will drop weight and build muscle at the same time.

 

4.How to lose fat on your face/chin?

This one made us chuckle, but we get it.  

It’s very difficult to predict where fat will come off your body first when you are losing weight.

We don’t have any magic exercises for this problem.

The good news is that when you do start losing weight, most people will notice it in your face first.

So to answer this question, just start doing the things from question 1 and you will lose fat off your face.

5.How to lose fat on your stomach?

This is a tough one.

For many people, stomach fat is the last to go when you lose weight.

We’d like to say you could just do a lot of ab exercises and that would take care of this issue, but we can’t.  It will help, but you need to do more than that.

Start losing weight the right way (see question #1), be consistent, and you'll eventually see a reduction in stomach fat.  The sooner you start, the sooner the fat will disappear.  



The common theme from these 5 questions is this:  to lose weight you have to eat better, exercise, and live a healthy lifestyle MOST of the time.  Do these things consistently and you will be unstoppable.
