Planting the Seeds of Weight Loss

Best-selling author Stephen Covey (7 Habits of Highly Effective People), when talking about success says it comes from consistent, daily effort.

Covey used an analogy of the process of farming as the need to have the patience and perseverance to grow crops properly.

First, you need to plant the seeds (i.e. - get started working out, making proper food choices, etc..), then apply the right amount of fertilizer and water (working out at your own pace, gradual dietary changes) CONSISTENTLY, then wait, and wait, and maybe wait some more.

If it's a new farmer/exerciser they may be thinking, "when will I see results?" "how come nothing’s happening after all this work?"

Truth is, it takes weeks, more like months/years, but just be patient and TRUST THE PROCESS.

Eventually, just like that stalk poking through the dirt on the farm, you will begin to see some success from all your hard work, which will motivate you to keep going,

We preach consistency and long-term focus at TFT, not any of those "quick fixes" "fad diets" and "14 days to shredded abs" BS!

Great results do not happen overnight.

Be patient, many give up right before they are about to have that breakthrough.......

So keep showing up, putting in that work (in and out of the gym), and the results will come in time.
